Well, its been almost three years since I posted in this blog. What have I been up to you might ask? Having kids! Its amazing how much time they take up. I had a little girl in October of 2011, followed quickly by a little boy in February of 2013. And its taken this long to determine a “new normal” that allows me some riding time. My days of riding horses freshly from the track are on hold for a while. But, I still have my 16 year old dance partner, Jewel. She and I have rededicated ourselves (well…me more so than her) to a regular lesson program and have made some big improvements in the last few months. Here is a pic from last Sunday of her working in the round pen. Its part of our regular warm-up.
